Videozyme: How to add CTAs to your video

A Call to Action (CTA) is a piece of content (digital) inserted in the original content (in our case videos) whose purpose is to enable the audience to perform a specific activity. CTAs are usually inserted for the purposes of sales by prompting the audience to respond immediately.

Here we will take an example of a CTA which serves as a hyperlink to another website.

Creating CTA:

  • Pause the video at the point where you would like the CTA.
  • From the toolbar, make sure you are in the ‘text’ mode and not ‘image’ mode.
  • In text mode, select the type of text from the options.
  • Click on the option, which will create a textbox on the video along with the options bar.
  • Type in text you want and edit it to suit your video.

Editing CTA:

  • Font
  • Size
  • Color
  • Opacity
  • Hyperlinks
  • Position of CTA on timeline of the video
  • Duration of CTA on timeline of the video
  • Fade in / out options for CTA

You can preview the changes made by playing the video. After you are done editing, click on ‘Finish’ at the top right of your workspace.
